     The DPA 4018C is finally here. I bought this mic to compliment to my DPA 4017B shotgun mic. I have heard a great review about the mic. Even though it may not have the well established reputation like the Sennheiser and the Schoeps product line among the soundman, I have decided to jump ship to the DPA products. I have yet to bring the 4018C for shoot but I am sure I will love it. Anyway, goodbye to my Sennheiser MKH8050.

     So another overseas shoot. This time around, 10 days shoot of Penang/Vietnam.The shoot is for a German production house. It is my second time in Vietnam and i think my first visit to Penang after more than 25 years. Anyway, easy days for me. Great experience working with these guys.

     It is another day of shoot with 12 channels of WisyCom wireless system. Great system for the job, making the shoot pretty easy and straightforward. Thanks Lesh for assisting me. I hope this hands on experience gives you a better idea about WisyCom.

     2015 came in with a great start. I was given the opportunity to be part of a very big project, Asia's Got Talent. To be exposed to such experience, opens my eyes to see a different level of workflow and technicality. It was 2 weeks of shoot for the judges audition. It was hectic but it is sure damn fun.

     Well, it is my first time to get myself an assistant for a job. 11 talents need to wired. I am feeling excited and grateful that Ivan Kerraine Ng, is able to help me. And everything went smoothly.
